John started his working life directly from school with Yorkshire Bank PLC at the early age of 15 years old. At 32 he was the youngest Senior Commercial Manager in the Bank and in the proceeding four years, developed one of the largest teams and portfolios.
At 36 John chose a new challenge to join a fast growing North East firm of Accountants as “Head of Commercial Finance”. During this successful time he was head hunted by a client of the practice and John became Chief Executive of a leading North East Healthcare provider.
Frustrated at not being able to fully direct the business and improve the overall integrity of the management structure, John left to establish Solutions Northern Limited in 2004. As Managing Director, he has overseen the creation of the niche concept of true “Business Support”, backed by a network of professionals across the North East with the aim of assisting businesses to achieve their goals and objectives through finance or strategic change.
John carries a wealth of experience in property related matters and advises clients on all matters relating to development, trading and investment funding. The client base has grown exponentially as clients utilise the external Bank Manager service on an ongoing basis as in most cases, this is obtained at no cost to the customer.
